In 1932, the house was acquired from the heirs of Miquel Costa i Llobera by the grandfather of the current owner, who made several modifications to its design to adapt it to the needs and tastes of the time. The house has undergone significant evolution over the years. On July 1, 1973, it was inaugurated as a museum dedicated to preserving and promoting Costa i Llobera's literary and cultural legacy. However, it no longer functions as a museum, but it remains an important symbol of the poet's memory.
