Welcome to a place where classical music, culture, and history converge in an atmosphere of elegance and exclusivity. The birthplace of Miquel Costa i Llobera, one of the most emblematic poets of Mallorca, has been restored and transformed into a private cultural center, designed for those who appreciate artistic excellence and the preservation of heritage.
Joan Bou Sunyerva, born in Felanitx in 1895, was a prominent entrepreneur who overcame the difficulties of his time. While his six siblings emigrated to Chile out of necessity, he worked in Morocco before settling in Pollença, where he had a successful career. In 1931, he purchased the Costa house from the poet's nephews for 80,000 pesetas, a significant investment at the time. He also acquired other important properties such as Son Brull and Alcanada. He dedicated time and resources to preserving the house and the legacy of Costa i Llobera, commissioning a portrait of the poet by Dionís Bennassar and a bust, which can now be seen in the garden.
His heirs, Maria Bou Villalonga and Joan Mateu Bou, have continued to preserve the house and promote its cultural legacy. Thanks to their commitment, the property has become a meeting place for cultural activities, keeping the memory of Costa i Llobera alive.
